Another successful Christmas Eve in Kitchener
Matthias played his guitar this Christmas Eve along with Uncle Chrissy.
Very cute. Fits right in to the musical tradition
This was a big day for Matthias. He is now officially a cub. Parents came to play games with the boys and wate the ceremony. Cute!
Matthias and I go weekly to visit Grama Betty at the Nursing Home. These pictures are from early December after our homeschool group Christmas performance. My friend Angela and her 4 kids stayed after and did some visiting.
Matthias and I are still harvesting our crops. It is so much fun. He gets so excited about it, always trying to find the biggest carrot. Scrubbing proves to be fun too.
Today we went to Orillia to learn about Homing Pigeons, as were used in World War 1. Two guys named Mike and Tom arranged for all our kids to divide into groups and write down messages to be attached to a pigeon’s leg and the pigeons were driven across town to be released and find their way back with their messages Very cool to see. The kids also watched a short film about Homing pigeons and listened to the men speak about their experiences raising and racing pigeons.
Matthias has been taking guitar for 3 weeks now and is doing amazing! His little fingers amaze me. Lots of work for him though. So cute!
Will take more photos to post later.
Today was the second day in a row for this chemistry experiment…..SLIME
